New Bridge to Help Learners by Sister Mathayo

The new bridge will be built between KwaThema’a Rest in Peace selection and Bacerlona the locations of Springs in the East Rand. The work started Tuesday according to ward councillor Wilson Busakwe, the bridge is being built to help school chilldren cross Barcelona to schools in Rest in Peace section. He said because of the danger posed by stagnant water where young learners cross, the metro has seen the need to build a bridge to avoid dangers of possible drowning of learners when crossing.
He said the construction of the bridge will not only help school children but has also created jobs for 10 residents who are unemployed. Heaven knows who will benefit from this project,family and friends(as always the case maybe) of the real people suffering from unemployment.
Speaking on behalf of those who will be working on the construction, Goodness Masondo said the new project will help her provide for her family. One of the constructors on site, Phillip Mathabela said the construction will not take more than a month.
