Anglo American Platinum presentation to the  SA Human rights commission investigative hearings on underlying socio-economic challenges on mining affected communities held in Johannesburg Braam park national offices were crossly misleading

The eight member delegation and the biggest ever comprised of executives and let by Mrs Mkhabela presentation was met with dismay  and dissatisfaction from the community members affected by Twickenham mine.

Some of the incorrect submissions include that they have implemented 11 of 14 SLP committed projects, The New mining technology is the study project and that they have extensively consulted with the stakeholders including Traditional leaders, Taxi associations and communities in May 2016 at Thabamoshate casino. The reality is that during that time NMT was already on full swing

During the supplementary submissions in November, Communities affected intends to expose their distortion and failure to respond sufficiently and with the absolute truth to the matters raised .
