Cable theft on the rise

Cable theft in Kwa-guqa extensions is now a habit as winter is coming,
In Emalahleni zone 14 end February, a Telkom land line cable was stolen from the poles which goes to houses, most houses where the cable was stolen are not in use of the landline and it’s been there for almost 34 years…
In another incident at ext.11 the municipal electric cable was also stolen which was cut on the ground.
