COURT-UP DATE ON SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOR PUBLIC VIOLENCE:
Tsa-LEPHALALE, Follow up story
Witpoort: The seventeen (17) suspects arrested in this matter have today on 2018/5/31 appeared before the Phalala Magistrate Court in Lephalale on charges of public violence, business robbery and malicious damage to property. Their cases were postponed until the 04th July 2018 for further Police investigations.
These suspects were identified as follows;
* Jan Moselane aged 31 who is the local Councillor in Lephalale Municipality
* Albert None aged 29
*Eric Molepo aged 36
*William Mothobi aged 38
*Ephraim Thutwa aged 43
*Isaac Modipa aged 25
*Job Mocheko aged 21
*Johanna Molebatsi aged 36
*Lazarus Kamusa aged 27
*Albert Modipa aged 30
*John Hlongwane aged 35
*Ngwako Medupi aged 28
*Thato Moraba aged 19
*Gift Malaya aged 29
*Jonas Montshiwa aged 23
*Letta Madira aged 38
All the suspects were each given R1 500 bail.
Their arrest follws an incident which took place at Ga-Seleka Village, Lephalale where four (4) trucks and one (1) bus were burnt to ashes on the 8th May 2018.
The Police investigations in all these incidents are still continuing.
