MEETING WITH MUNICIPALITY

After our monitoring workshop from 13-17 August 2018. We have given task to complete it in September about challenges we face as community affected by mining and other big industries.
On 20 August 2018 Lephalale monitors, we ask Lephalale Development Forum(LDF) Coordinator Mr Jacgus Snyman to arrange Environmental Sustainable Working Group Meeting on Tuesday, 22 August 2018, so that we can get information from our local municipality about some of issues we face in our area such Cut of water in Marapong township and Air pollution as our part of gathering more information on this two issues that our community are facing in Marapong and Leseding Village.
Our meeting our successful and we managed to gather all information we need, from our Lephalale Local Municipality representative Mr Jackson Chipape from Lephalale Municipality environmental team.
After our meeting we also received invitation from our Waterberg District Municipality Implementation Task Team meeting(ITT).
