Is now close to 2 weeks without water on the taps, people from Camp (new stand just at Ga-kgwete) have been struggling to get water and is 2 weeks now. The government and they do nothing about it is a difficult time of the pandemic were them (government) keep preaching that people need to wash their hands regularly now the question is how can the people of Camp do this while they don’t have water.
“To leave here you must have some cash because this happens regularly and we are used to it, we always buy water from the people who sell 2000 litre is R300 and its difficult for us to survive during this tough times, there’s no jobs the little we have we need to buy water as a basic need”. Said one of the resident.
I personally think that our government is full of promises but they don’t implement or fulfil.
