Taxi violence and casualties

Today the 29th if October 2021, Mokopane Taxi Association (owners and drivers) and local taxis (maxi taxis) drivers engaged in a very serious fight over their operating areas where more than 4 casualties and the death of 1 adult male belonging to local maxi taxis were reported.

It is alleged that the taxi belonging to Mokopane Taxi Association approached the group of maxi taxi drivers at a high speed and 2 people suffered injuries and the taxi continued chasing those maxi taxi drivers until it hits 1 adult male who sadly lost his life.

Police officials came in numbers to control the situation down between two groups.
