It’s been a two weeks out of electricity now. It is very sad that 3 months not having water in our taps too in Empumelelweni extensions.

We survive by the grace of God. The unfortunate part is that the Municipality speaker came to tell us why we are out of electricity but the reason doesn’t solve the problems we are facing.

Most people go to the bushes to collect fire wood and some they can’t even go to the bushes especially the old they will survive by eating bread and pure water with sugar.

This thing is really frustrating communities. Most people were already bought meat but all went to braai and even get rotten because was too much to finish.

This is really bad and no one is going to compensate them for their loss. And also there are people who take medicine that must be kept in the fridge but all in vein

Really a place where there is lot of illnesses and more coal fired power stations the people living in that areas are most affected but they don’t even think twice to keep them in the dark
