No one is healthy in Emalahleni

It is very risky to stay in a Emalahleni. Everyone knows that our area is surrounded by Mine’s, Industries and Coal Fired Power Station polluting.
It happened when the doctor diagnose me with the lungs problems. Just imagine a sad story that you think you’re healthy but your sick.
It happened at Emalahleni when I returned back from the doctor because I was feeling pain in my lungs .The doctor told me that I have a asthma.
It happened now days here in Emalahleni many people crying by the same disease like asthma, kidney failure and lungs problem . Really it is sad to live in a place like this .
The community is affected by the mine and power station because they polluting in our area especially those that are unemployed and depends on grant.
The mine and power station causes sickness to the people who is living in this community .dust from blasting is too much .during the night they release the emissions we face breathing problem and this happened always.
The solution is to relocate for those who have the power in order to live a healthy life. But for us the vulnerable cannot relocate we have no money to build again.
Action to take ,is to take mass action against the mine’s owners and DMRE together with law enforcement to close the mines next to our communities.
