Living in the Highveld region where this place was declared as a High Priority Area in November 2007 but even today nothing is showing that it is really declared.

It is highly polluted and people living in this area are breathing toxic air, but seems no one is taking this issue into consideration practically by enforcing the law to those who are still mining in the area. It is business as usually.

This mines are operating front opposite the community of Vosman , and the extensions called Ezinambeni, the dust that comes out when they are blasting just goes straight to the community households.

It is very sad that there was a case opened and won in the high Court in Pretoria we thought it was going to be a relief to those communities living next to mines concerning the outcomes of the Court judgement.

But some people are still suffering from the mine blasting in Vosman and Ezinambeni. I hope this court case ‘s judgment will change many things like the air quality management plan that will be protecting the nearby community.

The government departments that are responsible for the issue of mining rights and water used license will also draft their laws by doing public participation and the law enforcement to be part of the public participation.
