Illegal dumping is causing harm to our environment
In the fields of Serafa village and Makgake village, some residents throw their waste in the
fields which causes the animals to eat the waste as the death of animals is a concern for the
livestock.
It is very clear that some people need campaigns or skills to stop illegal dumping because is
harmful to our environment and that leads to climate change. Air pollution is a major issue
worldwide, and understanding how improper waste disposal affects the environment through air
pollution states that greenhouse gases build up their atmosphere and cause massive global
climate change. We would be happy if the municipality and mine could contribute to this issue of
pollution.
The community sees the benefit of having large waste bins in the landfills. Because animals are
grazing on the waste this will lead to them getting infected with poisonous substances. I think it
would be better to have a camp where our cattle can graze so that they can also have more
protection from eating what they should not eat. Also, we were asking for a way that mine since
you are in our country we were asking for camp and luster so that the cattle do not get hungry
when the grass is gone so that they can get used to luster we can that with the money it was
given to me only so that we could feed the children and not buy luster with it.
