The news was reported from Vosman village, a place around Emalahleni. People are suffering during this time of the year because of the rainy season and stormy weather. They are living in shacks that don’t have a strong support system, and the whole house can fall within no time limit causing people to become homeless. There are some people who are living a very poor life but trying so hard to survive, And there are Strays who need shelter during this time of the season.

It would not be a bad thing but a very impressive and life-saving thing if the Government helped and provided shelter for the poor and also provided free food to the poor families so that they could feel loved and cared for. In that way the government will be showing Ubuntu towards our people, unlike what they do when they want our Votes to win the election and benefit themselves only, it is very important to show care to other people and be a good influence. It’s been years living in this shack, I always get heartbroken when it’s time for rain because we drown in here, and the whole little things that I have get ruined. I so plead with the government to show just a little care of us. It has been hard for us since we moved in here, but we still survive because we still trust and have faith that one-day things will change and be better ”says Ms. Unknown”

This woman is not the only one but most people are living in that way. We as a community wish the government could help the poor by providing RDPs and food for people who need them so that they can feel love and care.Living in poverty is very painful, it triggers me when I have to let my kids sleep without food, my situation is very Depressing, but I’m still thankful to the community for being able to help me where they can, I seek the government’s attention.
