Open pit mIne creates health problems for Monametse community

The community of Monametse in Sekhukhuneland, Limpopo, has the same problem as in Wonderfontein, Mpumlanga as a result of mining operation especially by Braakfontein Shaft. The mine adds a certain chemical on the road. Because of fearful spirit of communities they fail to act in solidarity.The name of the mine is Bokoni Open Pit Mines. The community experiences unhealthy lives because it might happen that the the mine can takes full week without watering the very dusty road. They almost ignore the letters for meeting request. As a result the whole community end-up covered by dust because of the wind direction.
