Health centre of Marapong

On the 19-06-2017 at Marapong (Lephalale) in Limpopo province. Marapong Health Center was officially opened by Minister of transport Ben Martins were by it was supposed to be opened by the Minister of health Aron Motsoaledi .

Exxaro Coal Mine donated the building that was used as their Private Hospital to be used as Health Centre of Marapong because there is a New Private hospital in town the building was not used anymore. Marapong clinic was too small we used a Four (4) roomed house as a clinic and Eskom was responsible for renovations to the building and Department of Health will provide personnel to the clinic.

The personnel that were working at the old clinic are now working at the Health Center therefore no good service is rendered because of staff shortage. We wrote the letter to the HOD of Health but no respond. Because of over population at Marapong the Health Center was supposed to work 24hrs and only operates office hours only. By Francina Nkosi
