LAND issues in MOKOPANE

it’s a very very pain issue. Traditional leaders are bizy dishing out LAND as if there is no future for our children tomorrow.

Today we have visitors from Sekhukhune Atok and Ga Matlala Lewaneng.we visited Ga Matlou Mmapela and Motlhotlo village at Ga Mmapela Mokopane Limpopo province. Community members of Motlhotlo village are crying in tears when they tell their story on haw Anglo platinum mine is treating them. They live in fear because they say one of an old man who was staying alone has just been disappeared cause his house was on the way of a damping site of the mine. As we speak now the house is under the waist rocks of the mine. Sam family members are moving one by one after the incident.

They have no clean water, the mine is providing contaminated water.

No access of LAND for farming. No grazing LAND for their cattle.

The children looks pile due to noises from

trucks dumping waist rocks and blusting from the mine. When they complain against the mine they got arrested.

Anglo platinum mine is buzy swallowing their LAND.
