Unprofessional lifeline teams to test Hiv in ikemeleng community.

Ikemeleng community is an informal settlement made up by tobacco farmers and mine workers mine workers who opted for living allowance instead of hostel accommodation over the 60 years ago

The settlement is located +-7km outside rustenburg cbd.

On the 27th September Lifeline care givers came in ikemeleng to test Hiv around and testing people on street across the community.

My worry as an individual is the teams are moving around community without the following:

No name tags
No musks
No introduction
No sanitizers

The pair of 3 young ladies are not well professional in their job because first of the must be a clear introductions and privacy of information about people status but the young ladies are testing people on street even on tuck shops and how they do is unprofessional.

They throw used wipes everywhere they test people on street and shops and it left many worried to test because their scared of their status to the public.

I met with the youth leadership to address the matter with sister in-charge in ikemeleng clinic to resolve the matter as soon possible.
