Tainama Civils was awarded the road and stormwater control contract in 2018 in Mahwelereng Zone1 and other parts of Hospital-view in Mokopane, and it was awarded by Mogalakwena Local Municipality.
Tainama Civils has a history of not completing projects given to them yet they still get projects from the Municipality, the question most of the residents are asking themselves why do they keep giving the company projects while they do not complete the projects, in 2015 the company was awarded a project of building the R45million stadium under the project name Moshate Sports Complex, in 2016/2017 the company was award a contract of building/installing steel water tanks still the water is incomplete but he managed to claim all the monies for those projects and we don’t know how.
Now its a rainy season and we see ourselves facing yet another incomplete project and the different with this one it right in the community and now kids are playing into those deep holes and there are electrical wires that are cut off, now our deepest worry is that kids will drawn in those deep holes, and again the director of the company is now facing 114 charges instituted by the Hawks, he and 14 co-accused will be appearing in Mokopane Magistrates court on the 27 September 2021, and the issue of incomplete projects is part of the charges the company will be facing. Provincial treasury, and Mogalakwena municipality should be held accountable for all this!!!
