Free State to host the Netball World Cup post 50days countdown celebration in Bloemfontein.
The Free State Provincial Department of Spots, Arts, Culture, and Recreation in partnership with the National Department of Sports Arts and Culture under the guidance of minister Mr Zizi Kodwa invites all members of the community, media teams, and all stakeholders to Netball World Cup post 50 days countdown celebration.
The 08th of June marks exactly 50 days towards the 2023 Netball World Cup scheduled for 28 July – 06 August in Cape Town International convention center (CTICC). The government hosts the 50days countdown celebration to further galvanize the entire society to rally behind the Spar Proteas and to create awareness about the upcoming,#NetballWorldCup2023.
Minister Mr Kodwa was accompanied by Deputy Minister Nocawe Mafu and 6 Provincial MECs of Spots, Arts, Culture, and Recreation alongside their HOD.
This is a huge opportunity for South Africa as a whole it is one of the iconic moments will forever cherish, for us Free State Province we made sure that they were very welcoming as we were fortunate to see the trophy in our presence. We came out in numbers to see the trophy tour, we had so much fun on that day it was a memorable day even for Ministers.
All local sports personnel attended the tour Arts and Dance studio, we rejoiced took picks, and danced the day away.
The tour took place as follows.
13 June: Arrival Bramfisher Airport Bloemfontein
14 June: koffie fountain (Dithlake Studium)
15 June: QwaQwa Bloeqambusch Multi-Purpose
16 June: Youth Day Bloemfontein Dr Rantai Molemela Stadium
17 June: Welkom Momentum Sports Center.
