Blasting causing damage in our area

#BLASTING

The mines are causing Blasting damage to our area , as before the mines were established in our area we were living a good life .Our houses are cracked as a result of the blasting and this is causing the dust to have allowance in our houses .it is difficult for us to do laundry especially white clothes for it loosed colour and looked like are still dirty .

This is happening in our area Emalahleni in the Highveld Region of Mpumalanga Province as many people know that our are is surrounded by mine .

It happened when they are Blasting and when there is wind black dust causes white clothes changes in to the black colour .

The community is affected even when their sleeping they inhaling the dust causing them to catch respiratory illnesses such as asthma , sinuses TB , skin rush and many disease because of the chemical used for blasting.

We went to the nearest mines to put our complaints but the mines don’t care about us because they continue blasting as the wish without any notification to the community though they promise us to solve the problem .

As they didn’t solve the problem. We took mass action and go there to tell them that they must close the mine but still the production is going on with security guards this time caring big guns.
