A factory dealing with woods is polluting the air and the surrounding areas even if u pass through the National road N4 you can smell the bad smell coming from the factory.

 

This wood factory is situated in Ngodwane (Nelspruit) under Mbombela local municipality in Mpumalanga Province the place of the rising sun.

 

Every time your pas through the N4 you can see the smoke coming from the chimneys regardless of what time you are passing. Some chimneys produce white smoke and some brown and the last one is the ver dark one which is dangerous to humans’ health.

 

The workers are the ones that are directly exposed together with the communities nearby the factory as they smell it day and night. It also affects the people passing through the N4 as you can smell it even if the Windows are closed.

 

The factory operation of burning woods and the chemicals used seems to be the cause of the bad smell.

 

The Department of veld and fisheries together with the Department of Health have to take drastic measures of visiting the factory and investigate their operation

 

Could it happened that the factory is in fault it has to be closed and be penalized and for the fact that they destroy the environment by the cutting of trees for business purposes.
