The development of infrastructure

The community in Westernburg in Polokwane is finally getting tar-roads after years of using a dusty road. Gravel roads have caused a lot of damage in the area when climate change takes place.
When it is windy the dust is unbearable and some of the people experience respiratory and eye problems. The cars also have increased the level of dust in the area.
Some of the people have been complaining a little more about the damage that has caused to their cars. This has increased their vehicle’s maintenance cost which some cannot afford. At some point a gravel also can be expensive and disturbing, it needs a frequent maintenance and can be dangerous in wet weather because it becomes slippery.
At some point also a gravel road have an advantage (less accidents on the road where to those who use vehicles moving from point A to point B, cannot drive in a high speed so the car can’t be damaged.
Atleast it will be better because there will be less dust and maintenance will be done once in a while.
