Why Activism
Petrus Moshe
by Petrus Moshe
I am an activist because being aware of my social and political environment compels me to take action. This awareness ignites my passion and underscores my deep concern that remaining silent is not an option. Instead, I choose to stand up, confront issues, and embrace challenges when necessary.
My strong moral conviction compels me to challenge the status quo, question norms, and push beyond personal boundaries. I am constantly searching for the meaning of human existence and seeking answers to the suffering of the poor, particularly regarding the abject poverty that many endure.
Countries like the United States are actively pursuing their interests in Africa and the Middle East, often leading to devastating consequences for local populations. It’s heartbreaking to witness the loss of human lives and the threats to their future. Countless individuals are pleading for help, calling out for peace, freedom, and justice.
As long as the poor continue to be victims of human exploitation and suffering, I will remain committed to activism. I will always take a stand against injustice in all its forms. Activism is fundamentally rooted in the principle of human dignity.
