Blasting, Noise and dust affect community near mine.

A Lwala mine is near marula platinum mine in Ga Madikane,it is near the community and there is a sound that happen each and every day at around 16h00 there is a shacking there after the dust goes around to far east near community of Ga -Kgwete coming straight to the village near where I call Home. Community member can’t even last long when you’ve cleaned the house. This means we do double or triple chaos per day.

And in most cases when the blasting is about to take place, there’s no alert or a warning via local newspapers or even on Radio station, atleast to alert even the elders to be aware. They must make an effort just to let the community know the time of blasting because the sound is making even the livestock to run around not knowing what is happening or where to go and hide. One day some birds might even immigrate because of this unpleasant sounds and pollution.
