In 2014 when relocated community members from Monametse( Tipeng section and Mokgotho Thabaneng section) moved in their houses built by Bokoni platinum mine experience defect of cracks.

In 2018/20 project to repair and rebuild the cracked house took place, some various crisis like electrical shock experienced in some of the houses.
Meanwhile the assessment of soil test undertaken by mine.

One of affected house chosen to be duck ground, and electrical cable cut off.

We requested the map of the relocation mine failed to provide, this destructed current flow to some other houses while others experience electrical shock to some electrical appliances.

Mine indicated that issue belong to Municipality while Municipality doesn’t have hand over documents for relocation according to arrangements that fails to reach us since community requested information about relocation.

Electricity is dangerous, women and children are mostly the ones being at home most of the time and if the problem is not sorted they are the who will be mostly affected or injured.
